This site is not a contractor and is not a party to any contract you sign. If your concern is about a contractor's work, price, contract, deposit or conduct, start by raising it with the contractor in writing and keep a copy.

If that doesn't settle it, you can file a complaint with the Home Improvement Contractor program at the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, or contact the consumer advocacy office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Both publish their complaint steps on mass.gov. For a permit or building question, contact the building or inspectional services office in your city or town.

Let us know too if a contractor you were connected with acted in a way that concerns you. We can't settle disputes or award refunds, but we take that feedback into account when deciding which businesses may advertise here.
